DR. MICHAEL KAGAL
Dr. Michael Kagal, DDS, BSc., Owner of Humber River Dentistry was born and raised in Toronto. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (D.D.S.) in 1999 at the University of Toronto. Shortly after, he completed a dental residency program at St. Clare’s Hospital in Schenectady, New York. He has added his creativity to our dental practice, bringing a wide variety of experience from his work in several dental offices over the past decade. His special interests are Orthodontics, Cosmetic and Implant Dentistry.
Dai Jaimangal, MBA, CHRM
Practice Manager
Dai brings over 12 years experience to the Dental Practice, with 22 years in the Health Care and Private Sectors: The Hospital for Sick Children; University Health Network; Center for Addiction and Mental Health; etc. She is an experienced manager in various areas, Financial, Marketing, Operations, Administration, Human Resources, Planning, etc. Dai is responsible not only for the general management of the Practice, but also for treatment and payment plans at HRD and resolves any problems or issues that we may encounter.

Marietta Digenova
Recall Coordinator, Reception
Marietta has been managing HRD’s front desk for over 8 years. She is the friendly voice you will hear on the phone. She schedules and registers your appointments, and greets you with a warm smile on your arrival at the Office; making you as comfortable as possible. She attends to billings, overseeing insurance claim forms, and collecting any payments necessary.
Fluency: English and Italian.
PS: Marietta loves to know when there is a change in your insurance status, addresses and phone numbers, and any other information that is necessary for a smooth flow of your visit.
Charis Dao-Il
Admin Coordinator
Charis was one of our many coop students from Madonna Secondary School. We retained her back in 2016, as she was one of the most outstanding students we had. For the past 2 years, she’s continued to work at our office as admin coordinator.
Fluency: English, Tagalog, and Ilocano.
Marola Zambrano, RDA
Dental Assistant, Level 2
Marola brings over 15 years of dental assistant experience to our office. She is a hard working and valued member of our HRD team. This is reflected through the care she gives to her patients. She will keep you reassured and attend to you in the most compassionate way possible during each treatment. She is very gentle and soft spoken.
Fluency: English and Spanish.
Leydi Figueroa, RDA

Leydi has joined the Dental Practice since August 2014. She has over 16 years of experience as a dental assistant and is very diligent and caring. She is loved by the patients for her friendliness and openness.
Leydi is fluent in both English and Spanish.
Tajinder Gill, RDA
Dental Assistant, Level 2
Tajinder is the newest addition to our team bringing in more than 20 years of experience as a dental assistant. She finds joy in providing care to her patients, preparing and giving them peace of mind during their appointment. We take pride in her welcoming and kind aura that she brings to our teams and most importantly to our patients.
Fluency: English, Urdu, Hindi, and Punjabi
Azita Minouei, DDS, RDH
Dental Hygienist
Azita is a dentist by profession but prefers to do hygiene as she has a passion for it. She has over 30 years of experience in the dental industry. Azita is loved by all her patients and a preferred hygienist by those she treats due to her gentleness and quite disposition.
Fluency: English and Farsi.

Lidia Picamilho, RDH
Dental Hygienist
Lidia a Dental Hygienist and has over 30 years of experience in the field. She works on Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays at HRD. She is well loved by her patients and prefer her friendly and comforting approach towards their treatment.
Fluency: English and Portuguese.
